Taffeta & Embroidery

Taffeta. A unique fabric known for its unmistakable rustling sound. It demands to be heard, so when worn a grand entrance is inevitable. When combined with another equally adorned fabric, the result is simple: elegance.

This skirt is made from a soft pink taffeta with an overlay composed of mesh and black flowery swirls with gold detail along its petal edges. It has a pink acetate lining that is fell stitched along the edges and around the lapped zipper. It’s finishing touch is an ornate white lace hem tape using a small running stitch along the bottom. The skirt shown is paired with a black Victorian-inspired top, but is versatile enough in style and color that it can be worn with a variety of blouses.

The waistband features a pair of golden leaves embroidered onto it and is acceresorized with colorful beads and swarovski crystals going all around it. It closes with covered snaps along with a hook and handmade eye closure. There are also two hanging loops at the side that become seamless once its worn.

When was the last time you wore something that made you feel regal? This skirt gives you that and more.
